The Old Mending Rooms, Shaw Lodge Mill, Halifax

The mending rooms ceased operations in the late 1970's after 150 year stint. We are proud to be bringing British cloth back through these doors, revelling in the heritage of these walls and taking the mill into a new era.

The Clock Tower, Shaw Lodge Mill, Halifax

Magnificent architecture surrounds our Distribution office at Shaw Lodge Mills. The Clock Tower is positioned at the northern end of the 220m long weaving shed. It was built in 1876 from stone removed from the railway cutting adjacent to the mill complex.

Focus On: Rio II

Rio is woven in a gabardine construction. Combining a twill weave with more warp threads than weft threads, you will notice a steeper visible twill. The resulting fabric offers unrivalled lustre, excellent silk like handle and crease resistance.

Focus On: Rio I

The ultimate gabardine, woven in luxury super 120's wool. This wool fibre, perfectly combines excellent handle whilst maintaining durability.

Focus on: Manarola II

The collection also combines exceptional handle and drape with Natural Stretch for added comfort.

Focus on: Manarola I

Superfine merino wool and a longstanding favourite. At 290gms it is the perfect trans-seasonal weight. Constructed in a 2/2 twill it offers great performance in a wide variety of plains.
